- Pérouges : the pedestrian city of Perouges, grew in a tremendous way on the XIVth through weaving and wining industries, seems stuck in the XVth except tne post-revolutionnary bicentennial lime tree of main square.

At the bend of a hill, in the path of a plain, towers of fortified houses may be seen all around the region.Clearing the Rhone river, meet the huge variety of wealthes from the district of Lhuis : vestiges gallo-roman remnants in Briord, paleoarcheological museum (dinosaurs) of Cerin, memorial Izieu (in memory of deported children in 1944), house of "les Isles du Rhône" and the « water path » in Bregnier, nautical centers... are expecting your visit.



You will also go off on a jaunt for the town of Morestel, the painters town, Saint-Chef, abbey city in the Dauphiné, and the deserted village of Bouvesse-Quirieu.
The redeployment of "Ferry Castle" as a magnanerie (breeding of silkworms) at the end of the XIXth century, is incentive for you to visit one of the latest silk mill of Lyon, or broaden your knowledge of such an industry through the Lyon cloth museum.
East, south, west... the huge Rhone river offers a stunning succession of wonderful landscapes from the valley to the top of the hills.
